Millenniumpore are manufacturers of unique hollow fibre filtration membranes, modules and separation systems.

Millenniumpore have developed a novel manufacturing technique that allows hollow fibre filtration membrane to be manufactured in diameters of up to 25mm. Such membranes are new to industry.

The membranes are not cast onto a carrier or support material as in the case of a conventional tubular membrane. The new membrane is a wholly integral and continuous matrix of modified polyethersulphone (PES) that is highly asymmetric in structure.

The hollow fibres are flexible, strong and highly porous. More importantly they are highly permeable, even at very low applied pressure.

The membranes are chemically modified to impart a low energy hydrophilic surface that is low fouling.

The advanced Microfiltration (MF) and Ultrafiltration (UF) hollow fibre membranes extend the capabilities of filtration systems by improving the tolerance of the systems to gross solids and viscous streams.

Millenniumpore have applied the extra capability that the hollow fibre provides to develop innovative new products industrial wastewater treatment, process filtration and innovative products for drinking water supply in the developing world.

The technology has lead to the creation of improved filtration processes and products that are supplied as fully engineered systems by the company.

Millenniumpore also offer specialist consultancy services to industry, laboratory evaluation and on-site trials for their treatment technologies.

1. Enhanced Cross-Flow Filtration Systems -: Systems for industrial effluent treatment and process filtration.

2. Membrane Bioreactors (MBR’s) -: Systems for treatment of high strength biodegradable wastewater.

3. Aqua Filters -: Simple manually or power driven self-cleaning filters for producing microbiologically safe drinking water for communities in the developing world.
